Here are a few projects and interests that the club is involved with:

We are responsible for building bridges and maintaining and insuring the trails at Seven Springs to just north of Ohiopyle State Park. It costs us $1,400.00 a year for this insurance so that any registered snowmobiles can ride. The private landowners demand this for their own protection. If you ride this area, we would like to have you join our club and help us.

We are also responsible for connecting all the small sections of trail into one continuous trail to State Game land 111 (just North of Ohiopyle). There are trails in Ohiopyle and trails north of there, but no connector. It can be done, but we need your help. We do hundreds of hours of trail work each year to keep the trails open and make new trails we can use all of the help we can get, so e-mail us if you would like to get involved.

Many of these projects require a lot of money and work. we need people to join and help the club if we are to continue our goals. Working on the trails can be hard work, but it also be a lot of fun. You also get to meet some really good people. Join us and you can be one of them.

The club purchased a Groomer  in March of 2003. We groom the section of trail from Cranberry Lake to just before County Line Road by Seven Springs.  Running this machine is a big expense for us.  The state only reimburses us for fuel expenses witch come add up to about $320 per year.  All other operating costs must be covered by the club.   We need all the members we can get . . . the more members we have, the more we can groom and make the trails better.

We also do a lot of other of other activities when the snow isn't flying, such as a Summer Picnic, Fall Dinner, and Christmas Party.  Throughout winter we have Poker Runs and Trailside Cookouts.  Each year donations are made to various charitable causes, as the Children's Home in Somerset.  In addition, children in need and physically-challenged children have benefited from our club's contributions.
